As stated in “The Dash”, my favorite poem by Linda Ellis:

“...I read of a man who stood to speak at a funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning - to the end.
He noted that first came the date of birth, and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth and now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth....”

To a woman truly loved by All and a life well lived
You will always be our Angel,
-Kathy Mirra

My Dear Aunt Dolly, my Godmother and cherished Aunt. You had a way about you that brought comfort, joy, and love to me whether in person or by phone. I will always remember your laugh, your smile, and the joy and comfort that surrounded you. I remember when all the Aunts and Uncles would get together, there was no better place on earth than to be in the house full of family and good times. We always stayed in touch on birthdays and holidays. My dad use to love traveling with you on the timeshare vacations. He would tell us all about the great things you did and places you visited. You were a beautiful Red Hat Lady!
I miss you already. You are forever in my heart! RIP
